Renovation is where a house's condition stops being a line on a listing and becomes a cost: the damp that needs tracing, the extension with no paperwork, the roof a buyer's surveyor will not ignore. That is the side of a sale many guides skip, and it runs through what he writes about pricing a home, preparing it and dealing with problems that surface late.
He writes for sellers who want the evidence set out plainly before anyone asks them to sign: what each route costs, what the contract says, and where each figure came from.
